About Matisse

Hi! My name is Matisse and I am an experienced and dedicated nanny with three years of experience in early childhood care. Previously, I have worked as an assistant teacher and attained over 145 hours of formal early childhood development education. Prior to working in preschools, I worked as a nanny for many wonderful families in my community. I hold CPR and First Aid certifications as well as a doula certification. I'm passionate about providing high quality experiences that nurture and support creativity, curiosity, learning, and joy! A typical day nannying for me involves lots of arts and crafts, reading, and spending time outside to play. I am adaptable, reliable, calm, and positive. I hold a Bachelor's degree in journalism. I enjoy spending time with my family, spending lots of time outdoors hiking, horseback riding, and skiing, and learning new hobbies.
