About Mattilda

Hi, my name is Mattilda, you can also call me Matti! I am a 23-year-old college graduate from the University of Maine at Farmington. Before college, I had nannied three children for 8 years, which made me want to go into teaching. I have my bachelor's degree in early childhood education (birth-5) with a minor in early childhood special education. After college, I nannied for around 6 months and absolutely loved it. Not only does it allow me to work more closely with the child but also the family. I live in the Portland area now and love being outdoors, going on walks, and creating a safe & unrestricted environment for children to explore. I enjoy tidying up in my downtime and helping out where I am needed. I am not comfortable driving children around in my vehicle but I am active and can easily find entertaining things to do with children in the natural world such as going on strolls, gathering nature, reading, and art! I look forward to working with your family and your children!
