About Matylah

Hey families ! My name is Matylah but I'll go by Ty and I love working with kids. I am the oldest of 4 from a single parent home so I was on babysitting duty often growing up. In high school I cared for an infant during weekdays while her parents worked. I am currently a college student at ASU majoring in early childhood education. I was a teacher assistant at ASU's child study lab. We supervised a group of children from ages 3-5 years old. Right now I work with kids from ages 5-9 years old who are diagnosed with severe autism at an ABA academy. I am also interning in a kindergarten classroom. I am a determined individual with a passion for learning and helping others. I would describe myself as creative, curious, kind and passionate about the youth.
