About Maxwell

I have been working with children since I was 17 at my first job teaching swim lessons. During high school I spent all four years in the peer buddy program helping fellow students with disabilities get through their day. In college I played football and we were always involved with the younger community teams. We also had an elementary school and daycare on campus we were always visiting. I developed a passion for helping kids learn and grow during my time as a counselor at my high school coaches summer football camp. I've done this camp every year since I graduated high school and we working with kids ages 4-14. I took this passion and made it into high school coaching after I was done playing in college, which I still do. I am first aid and CPR certified and have been Red Cross lifeguard certified in the past. I am trying to turn this passion into a career after moving across the country.
