About Maya

I'd describe my personality as flexible, caring and creative. I like working with kids because they are always so much fun. I feel that I can teach them a lot, but they also teach me a lot! I started working with kids when I was in high school. I worked with 1st through 5th graders at my church twice a week, and since then have babysat for multiple families. I have done summer programs with children of all ages as well in high school. My skills include understanding children by being able to read what they need or want to do, creating fun ways to keep them occupied (playing games or learning games), and caring for them well by being a friend!
