About Maya

Hi! My name is Maya and I love enriching the lives of children and providing a happy and supportive role when I can. I've been a camp counselor for over 3 years and love the outdoors. I also have a lot of driving experience (I was a shuttle driver this summer) if that is something you are needing. I am a junior at JMU, go Dukes! I'm happy to help and am flexible with hours! Thanks! As a nurturing and enthusiastic childcare professional with four years of experience, I am passionate about providing a safe, stimulating, and nurturing environment for children to grow, learn, and thrive. With my diverse skill set, I enjoy engaging children in various activities, from outdoor sports and physical games to board games and puzzles. I am also a skilled swimmer and would be delighted to teach swimming to the children in my care, if desired. I hold CPR training certification and am committed to maintaining a safe and secure environment for the children I care for.
