Hi there! My name is Maya and I am currently a rising junior studying Psychology and Family Sciences at Syracuse University. I have done both volunteer and paid work with children for the past 4+ years including babysitting, camp counselor, and working as a teaching aid in a kindergarten classroom. During the summer I work as a counselor at Friendship Circle Summer Camp, working with children with special needs and facilitating camp activities for up to 12 children at a time. I have worked with children ages 1-14 and have extensive experience working with children with special needs. I have my own transportation and will be fully available this summer from May 10th until June 16th 2024.
