About Maya

I'd describe my personality as happy, respectful, and compassionate. I like working with kids because I grew up with younger family members, and have always felt instinctively nurturing when around them; Working with kids is something I care deeply for. I'm looking for a job that is quick/flexible. I work part time at a busy restaurant. I have a lot of down time, and the days/hours I work vary I started working with kids when I was in ninth grade (volunteer work), and I babysit for family friends occasionally. In my spare time, I like to go to the gym, read, spend time with my loved ones, & go outside. I also spend occasional weekends at my camper in Maine with my boyfriend, mom, & step dad. I am reliable, and comfortable with most pets; I have cats & dogs of my own, & have spent time with many pets of different species. I am also soon to be CPR certified, & will update my bio accordingly once done. I am extremely patient, I understand all kids develop at their own pace.
