As a Social Worker, I often screen & hire caregivers for my clients. I am extremely picky whom I bring into my clients' lives. Several months ago, I hired Mayra to care for one of my clients who lives with advanced dementia. His family was unable to care for him (bathing, dressing, feeding, etc). Mayra is a miracle worker and I am so grateful for her services. She gets the hard jobs done while maintaining client dignity. She is a smart, intuitive & creative problem solver as well as a compassionate & skilled care giver. Mayra's training and experience caring for the most difficult and hard to direct patients in a Memory Care Unit has equipped her well. Her positive and calm demeanor bring comfort to the patients and their families. I would trust Mayra to care for any of my beloved family members. Her approach is effective and authentic. She sees the person.... not the dementia patient. Her expertise is priceless. I wish I could give her 10 stars. She is exceptional.
