About Mckenna

In addition to multiple years as a professional geriatric social worker, I have helped a range of individuals with varying medical needs such as transportation to and from doctor's appointments, assisting with medication management, and ensuring safe ambulation and mobility. At the same time, my role has also been in helping to maintain and assist with household tasks such as meal prep/cooking, household organization, pet care, and running errands. Prior to and at the start of COVID, I was caregiving for a spry and fairly independent 98-year-old woman who had suffered a fall and broken her hip. As a result, my role quickly changed to aiding her in more of her personal care needs such as bathing/dressing, toileting, mobility assistance and exercise, etc. Currently, I am looking for a part-time yet consistent opportunity which would allow me to be of service to others while creating real connection and companionship.
