When I was 13 years old I started babysitting for my neighbors who had twins that were 3 years old at the time and a 5-year-old son. Throughout my time in middle school and high school I cared for this family along with a few other families in my area. I realized that I had a love for children and caring for them so I decided to major in early childhood education at Pennsylvania State University. This past year I interned at a preschool a few days each week and was really able to learn about young children and how to properly care for them. I have worked at a summer camp for the last two years and I am the camp's supervisor this summer.
