About Mckenzie

I have 19 years of experience babysitting and teaching children. I started out at age 15 babysitting two twin boys under 1 y/o. The mother worked at home while I cared for them and kindly taught me everything I needed to know about caring for an infant. This is what created such a strong base for my knowledge and experience with children of all ages. I babysat for families, nannied to pay my way through college and went on the be a Montessori Primary teacher. My Montessori background allows me to understand children individually and on a deeper level. I create firm, but loving boundaries. It is very important to me honor the child and create a firm bond they are comfortable with. I am very adventurous and absolutely love the outdoors! During my free time I love to hike, read and go see live music. I love to be goofy, with or without children around. Parents - I am an open book! Feel free to reach out with any further questions!
