About Megan

Hello all! My name is Megan and I am currently a preschool director at a private preschool in Chicago's River North neighborhood. I have served as a director for the past 3 years and prior to that was a lead teacher for 3 years. I am taking a step back from the preschool directing world in order to reignite my passion for working directly with young children. I miss the magic teachable, messy, and challenging moments of each day! Prior to my work in Chicago, I worked during the academic year as an infant teacher at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, Ohio. I spent my summers as a residential camp counselor and later campus director at Camp Laurel in central Maine. I graduated from Ohio University in 2013 with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education and am now licensed to teach in both Ohio and Illinois.
