About Melanie

Hello! My name is Melanie. Working with kids is my lifelong passion, so I'm truly excited to connect with you and your family. I have over a decade of experience in childcare with children of all ages and backgrounds. I have professional experience as a youth counselor, caregiver, nanny & behavior technician for kids with special needs. My areas of expertise are therapeutic techniques, behavioral de-escalation and trauma-informed care. Treating your child with gentleness and respect is one of my core values as a caregiver. On a personal note, I am also a parent to a 6-year-old and know firsthand how important trustworthy care is! As parents, we all need time to ourselves. When we work together, you can feel confident - and even excited! - that your child is having a positive, enriching experience. I hope that we can build a trusting and collaborative relationship.
