About Melanie

I'd describe my personality as happy, silly, and positive. I like working with kids because every day is different, they bring so much joy into everyone's lives, and they have such a unique perspective on everything. I'm looking for a job that is in the evenings and late afternoon. I'm a preschool teacher and I will be doing summer camp so I'm not available until after 3:00 p.m. I like take trips with the kids and do things like parks, library trips, and evening walks. I'm also love to do educational activities with the children. I started working with kids when I was 16. I started off as an afterschool counselor and I work with k-3rd. After two school years of aftercare I transferred in a preschool which is where I currently work. I teach a pre-k class and a 3-year-old class. In my spare time, I like to do lots of art like pottery, sewing, and painting. I like to watch tv especially my favorite show Gilmore girls. I also enjoy singing although I can't say I'm very good at it.
