About Melanie

I am an energetic, organized, and creative person. When working with children and families, I am very patient and reliable. I am currently looking for a position where I can provide early morning care. I began working with children over 14 years ago as a preschool teacher. I also served as the school's Assistant Director and Education Coordinator. I went to BGSU for Education. I am CPR and First Aid certified, along with holding certifications in Child Abuse Prevention and Communicable Disease. I have over 100 hours of professional development classes in Early Childhood Education. I love working with children because of their natural curiosity and wonder about the world around them. I love being a part of helping them to learn and grow. A child's energy and imagination are infectious. Every day is something new. I enjoy doing crafts and different activities with children, engaging all their senses. I love to incorporate music and movement.
