About Melanie

Hello and thank you for considering my application. I have cared for and taught children of all ages from newborns to seniors in high school for the past 30 years. I have a multi-cultural educational background (17 years teaching all ages and cultures) and have also worked with and tutored students with varying special needs; particularly autism. I worked in an orphanage for many years and later as a teacher and Dean of Students at an international Missionary school. I love children and I strive to enrich their lives with fun and learning every day through play, song, and sensory experiences. I love to read, cook, and sing. I have three grown children of my own. I am bilingual; fluent in Spanish. I am happy to provide references for you. I look forward to the opportunity of meeting you and your child.
