About Melanie

I'm a 1993 graduate of UNH with a BS in Wildlife Biology. Early in my career I worked for the National Audubon Society and NH Fish and Game. Today, I still have a strong interest in birding and occasionally host small group or private bird watching outings. I later took a different path and became a trained chef, working for the UNH for over 14 years. In parallel, I have been caring for a local, elderly woman, part time for over 10 years. In addition, I have quite a bit of personal experience helping to care for elderly and memory challenged family members. If applicable, I like to incorporate my cooking skills and knowledge of nutrition and the outdoors into a care program for the individual. I have been married for 11 years, with no children.
