I have worked with children for the past 6 years for the City of San Jose as a Recreation Leader for after school and summer camps. I also plan, coordinate and organize events and activities for families throughout San Jose. I've mastered art's & crafts, games that range from toddlers to adults and yes, I even cook with kids! I have nannied with 3 amazing families PT and FT I grew up in a household with a full-time nanny and knowing someone was caring after me while my parents were away has shaped me to be the person I am today. I've worked with people of all ages, backgrounds, and areas. I am lingual English and Spanish and I'm currently learning French.

Melinda has helped me on a regular basis for a number of years with my 5-year-old son. Melinda has a strong background in community service, mentoring children, tutoring, and working in professional child-care and after-school programs for the City of San Jose. Melinda brings a love of sports, music, dancing, and games that all help build a child's confidence and she has also worked with my young son on crafting/arts for fine motor skills development, and regular reading time to build vocabulary. My child is now thriving in school and I have Melinda to thank for her help with his development. I enthusiastically recommend Melinda for your childcare needs. My son is now busy in school and cared for by his school after-care programs so now I will only need Melinda and other care-givers help when I have industry events in the evening for my career.
