About Melissa

Hi, I have about 7 years of babysitting experience and I would describe myself as a caring, playful, and responsible sitter. In 2018, I sparked creativity and literacy skills in kids aged 7-10 at a Brooklyn summer camp. From 2019 to 2021, I worked at a daycare, covering infants to 12-year-olds. I handled everything from diapers to homework, ensuring their growth and safety. Since fall 2021, I've been part of the nyuchildcaregroup, providing childcare for three families. I cared for two girls aged 2 and 5, engaging them in dress-up games, dance parties, and bedtime stories. Prior to that, I spent time with an adorable 3-year-old, enjoying walks to the playground and singing together. I occasionally assist another family with date night babysitting as well. I'm passionate about creating a nurturing and enjoyable environment for kids, helping them thrive. I also have experience with dog sitting, am CPR certified and fluent in Spanish.
