About Melissa

I have been a certified home health aide and companion caregiver for about 10 years now. I have worked for several agencies in NJ as well as assisted living facilities. I have also been an aid for family members in my community of Bloomfield, NJ and neighboring town of Nutley, NJ. I became an aide because of my passion to help others and because of my love for my family. I was my maternal grandfathers aide for years, we were very close and once he was diagnosed with dementia I took in full responsibility of him for my family. I took care of all of his necessary doctors appointments as well as bathing, dressing, feeding, cooking, cleaning, grocery shopping and picking up his medication. I also had the pleasure of doing the same thing for my paternal grandmother, who was diagnosed with cancer. The caregiver position is something I hold very near and dear to my heart and I will continue my passion through helping your family member as well.
