About Melissa

Hi, my name is Melissa. I have been working with children for about 15-16 years now. I've worked in four daycare centers and I was a nanny for five different families. I'm currently working in a public elementary school, but I'm looking for a nanny position just for the summer! In the four different day cares I worked at, I helped with toilet training, circle time, art projects, class trips during the summer, diaper changing, and teaching the children things like shapes, colors, numbers, and letters. As a nanny, I helped with bathing, cooked breakfast, lunch, and sometimes dinner, cleaned and organized the house, helped with homework, took the children to the park, picked up and dropped off to school, did arts and crafts with the children, and played games. I do have a daughter and I'm looking for a position where I would be able bring my daughter with me; she is almost 8 years old and I'm planning on putting her in karate camp for the summer, but it's not for the entire summer!
