About Melissa

Hi! I'm Melissa. I am a student of the elements, seeking a degree in Natural Resource Management. I love to cook healthy foods, garden, dance, sing and play. I'd describe my personality as caring, playful and present. I like working with kids because I enjoy being around them. I get to express my playfulness and take part in nourishing and enriching the lives of my favorite demographic. I'm looking for a job that is harmonious with my school schedule. I started working with kids when I was 17, when my first niece was born. I like to spend my spare time outdoors, hiking and cloud gazing, reading, learning, and hanging out at coffee shops. One thing you should know about me is I am reliable, easy-going, and fun! I am very attuned to children's needs for attention, physical and mental stimulation, and connection.
