About Melissa

I'd describe my personality as creative, compassionate, patient, and thoughtful. I grew up with a doctor and a nurse as parents, so I am also very educated on hygiene and safety. I like working with kids for several reasons. I have six nieces and nephews, a lot of experience with babysitting and nannying. Children are the future and I believe they need to be listened to, cared for, and nurtured in all things. I want to have a positive impact on their lives. Their innocence and imagination is refreshing to be around. In my spare time, I like to write, read, and spend time outdoors. I also enjoy painting, drawing, yoga, and music. My skills include active listening, communication, organization, patience, and enthusiasm.
