About Melissa

I'm a stay-at-home mom and part time student majoring in psych/sociology. I have over 12 years of experience caring for my own children and 20yrs experience caring for children of others. I have also volunteered in youth ministry for over 10 years. I am available to care for child in my home with flexible availability while providing a stable and safe environment. Your child will feel at home with practical life activities, home cooked meals, and fun activities. I believe in limiting screen time to group dance/music child videos such as DannyGo! I have a somewhat Montessori approach of observing and engaging with child's natural interest and emphasis on hands-on learning. I believe in developing real-world everyday skills while encouraging safety, sensory, motor, emotional and developmental skills in a natural home setting through communication, art, music, reading and play.
