About Melissa

As a childcare provider with seven years of experience, I am passionate about making a positive impact on children's lives. My patient and friendly nature creates a calm environment for children to thrive. I believe in open communication with parents and follow their preferred methods to discuss their child's day or any concerns. While I'm comfortable enforcing household rules, I also prioritize fostering a nurturing environment. I enjoy playing a variety of games with children, from outdoor sports to educational games that promote learning. I am comfortable caring for up to two children of various age groups and have some college experience under my belt. In addition to English, I also speak Portuguese (Brazil). As a non-smoker who is comfortable with pets, I am happy to assist with light housekeeping and supervise swimming activities. My First Aid Training and CPR Training ensure the safety of the children in my care.
