Hello! My name is Melissa and I hold a BA in Sociology which I received from SUNY New Paltz. It was during this time that my love for teaching transpired. I decided to study abroad and continue enriching my sociology major by volunteering to provide education and care for students in an economically disadvantaged area in Guayaquil, Ecuador. To say the least, this social cause changed my life and, 13 years later, paved the wonderful path that has been childcare and teaching. In my 10 years of working in childcare, I have worked in two daycares, nannied for several years and am now currently employed as a teacher assistant for 3K. Back in 2012, I taught as a head Spanish teacher for children aged 3 to 4 years old in the bilingual program as well as being the head teacher in the infant program. With this experience, I can provide homework help with an added bilingual background. Looking forward to meeting!
