About Melissa

As a single mom, former teacher, and lifelong animal lover, I am looking to put my natural care giving skills to use where I can focus on a fun and nurturing environment for your pets, children, and parents, instead of a life of standardized testing and limited movement. I learned long ago that a desk job is not for me, and I have loved long walks and stopping to enjoy the environment around me since childhood. I enjoy making up stories and being silly. I love to learn and share my knowledge. I enjoy the relaxing side of nurturing as well. For all of these reasons and so many more, I believe that becoming a caregiver for pets and people alike is the best way to use my skillset to improve not only the lives of the families I care for, but also the community as a whole.
