My name is Mia, and I am a Junior at Tulane University studying Neuroscience. I have had dogs at home since I was 5, and love to care for animals! I have experience sitting fish, dogs, cats, and birds. Currently my family has a sweet elderly chocolate lab, Hershey, and a younger Westie, Luna. Hershey and Luna have given me quite a bit of experience with dogs that require senior care, medication administration, and have additional health restrictions such as allergies. Growing up we had a different Westie that had some problems with aggression, so I worked extensively with a dog trainer to learn about de-escalating tense situations with dogs, especially terriers. I would love to meet you and your animal friend!
