About Mia

Hello, my name is Mia and I would love to help you out looking after your kiddos :) I absolutely adore the way kids see the world. They interpret the world around them completely different from adults, and it's so much fun to watch and take part in. When I work with kids, I always do my best to get involved, play with them, and connect with them. I've been working with kids for a while. I started when I was 13 when I became a camp counselor and I began teaching ballet to younger kids, and today I work at a local children's gym with kids aged 4 months - 9 years old. I also now babysit weekly for several families. I'm experienced working with kids as young as 4 months up to 10 years old. The majority of my work is with preschool aged kids (3-5). I am certified in CPR and First Aid for infants, kids, and adults. I have also received concussion training. I am a student at UB studying sociology, Spanish, and dance. In my spare time, I enjoy dancing, video games, and playing music.
