Hello there! My name is Mikki. I have a B. A in Music Education from UMass Lowell where I also minored in Disability Studies. I am currently in the graduate Music Therapy program at Lesley University where I will receive a dual-licensure of MT-BC and LMHC upon completing the program. I am also a certified infant, toddler, and preschool teacher through the EEC and worked in daycare during and after my undergraduate degree. I believe that learning should be fun and that the arts, especially music, are a wonderful tool to combine creativity and education. Every child learns differently and at their own pace, and I abide by the "no child left behind" policy so that every single person can learn. In my free time, I love to play with my cat named Rune, make music with my guitar or flute, crochet, and do lyra.

Mikki is an excellent communicator, very organized. She is a quick study; we only ever had to show her something once and she'd get it. She asks thoughtful questions, is a good problem solver. When something wasn't clear she would check with us before making assumptions. She is also receptive to feedback. After just one shift, we were comfortable leaving our baby with her and knew that she had everything under control. Although we only specifically hired her to help with our infant, she is excellent with older children: our 6yo looked forward to the days she came by. Bonus for us parents she is also an interesting person outside of her childcare duties. We hope that our schedules align again, so our littles may have another chance to benefit from her caregiving.
