About Michelle

Hello! I have 9 years of experience as a middle school math teacher (6th, 7th, and 8th grade). I hold a bachelor's degree in Elementary Education and Middle School Math and have experience in elementary school classrooms as well through substituting and student teaching. I also hold a master's degree in Special Education. I've taught special education students math and science for the past 5 of my 9 years. So I am highly skilled in differentiating and modifying my teaching and the content for all different types of learners. Teaching is my passion and I enjoy being able to utilize my knowledge from the classroom to tutor students and help them maintain skills and/or help them prepare for the new school year. Whatever the needs and skill-level of your child, I'm positive I can find ways to make our tutoring session engaging and worthwhile.
