About Mikaela

My name is Mikaela and l am a graduate school trained clinical social worker in Denver. I am feeling a bit burnt out from the intensity of the work I've been doing, and have decided to take a break to figure out what's next, which is why I'm here. I have plenty of childcare experience that has taken place in a variety of settings. While completing undergrad and grad school, I worked as a nanny for several families in both part- and full-time capacities. The majority of my experience has been with infants, toddlers, and multiple children at once. I also have extensive work and volunteer experience with youth in other settings. I value forming lasting connections with the families I work with, and I am still in touch with many of my past families. When nannying, I make it a priority to be engaged and present, and I enjoy planning developmentally appropriate activities and outings.
