With 6 years of experience working with newborns and 7 years with toddlers and young adolescents, I bring a wealth of knowledge to the table. I also worked at Citrus Nursing Center for nearly 3 years during the COVID-19 pandemic in a specialized rehabilitation unit. I'm CPR and First Aid certified and have a leadership background that I combine with playful interaction with children; additionally, I have 3 years of experience working with children on the autism spectrum. In my free time, I enjoy visiting museums, attending concerts, practicing yoga, and meditating. I'm comfortable with pets, as I have 3 of my own. I have my own transportation and am willing to travel up to 45 miles. My schedule is flexible, so whether you need a night out or extra time to run errands, I'm available to stay longer if needed. While I'm seeking a long-term position, I'm open to short-term opportunities and can provide multiple references.

Mikayla has been nothing but wonderful with our now 5 month old son! (She started when he was 4 months.) She's very knowledgeable, with a keen eye towards development/learning-based play which was very important to us. Our little one's face lights up when he sees her -- and just as important, we trust him being in her care! She's kind and considerate, and has been an amazing set of extra hands for this new mom-and-dad :)
