About Mikayla

Hello! My name is Mikayla and I have just graduated with Health Science degree from JMU! I am currently taking classes for an online master program at Longwood for Speech Language Pathology. I have been with numerous family's since 2020 when COVID hit. I was with a wonderful family for a year in which I cared for a 16 month and helped with many daily activities. We loved playing inside with dolls and building blocks, going on walks, going to the playground, and watching frozen (twice a day...) I also worked with 6-year-old twins for two years! We loved going to the park, building 40, playing basketball, going to the trampoline park, and most of all getting ice cream. I worked with five boys under the age of 10 with one boy being only 5 days old! Most recently I've been working with a 5-month-old. Though it was a challenge and a handful, I loved every minute. I adore working with kids, and I hope to make their days a little brighter each time I see them.
