About Miranda

I'd describe my personality as empathetic, charismatic, and conscientious :) I love working with kids because I have always loved providing the children I've worked with a safe space to grow and learn to be emotionally intelligent and to be able to provide a space where they can discuss their experiences and emotions openly. I'm looking for a job that will hopefully have a consistent schedule, but I am flexible. I started working with kids when I was around 16 years old at a local summer day camp, and eventually went on to become a supervisor for an after school program for LAUSD. One thing you should know about me is I am very family oriented and love to spend time with my loved ones, as well as my closest friends who I too consider my family. My skills include being patient, attentive and understanding. Because of my previous experience working with children, I have worked with a diverse range of children and I am able to build an exceptional rapport and connection promptly.
