About Miranda

Hello! I am currently a student at the University of Utah pursuing a career as both a recreational and occupational therapist. To help pay for school, I have nannied and babysat for families with up to four children ages three months-13 for the past four years. I also currently volunteer at my church in kid and student ministry, working with children ages two-15 every week. Each of these experiences have helped me develop effective caregiving skills and increased my passion for working with youth. As a recreational and occupational therapy student, I believe finding ways to enhance an individuals quality of life through activities they find fulfilling is of the utmost importance. Identifying and engaging in these activities with children as a caregiver is something I will always strive to do. I'm looking for a job that allows me to work in a field I am passionate about while navigating the schedule that comes with being a student.
