About Molly

I am a mother of two girls, ages 16 and 14. I have cared for children since my early teens. After working five years as a social worker, I returned to school to earn a Master's Degree in Elementary Education. During graduate school, I worked as a nanny for two fantastic Chicago families. From 2001 to 2008, I was a public school teacher. After I gave birth to my second child, I decided to stay home full-time and then I returned to teaching in 2015. Taking care of children is second nature to me, yet I feel privileged and lucky to be in the company of both my own and others' children. As I have also been a working mother, I understand the need for a strong relationship between caregiver and parent, and I work hard to achieve this. I am a full-time private school special education teacher. I have a passion for teaching reading and enjoy helping students develop the skills necessary to achieve.
