About Monica

I took care of my mother for several years. She had severe heart problems, diabetes and a stroke. Ultimately, from that experience, I realized my compassion and abilities to make a difference in a senior's life was part of who I am. I have worked with seniors in a nursing home as well as private residences, where duties ranged from a companion to watch over meals and accompany to activities. To a patient of 91, confined to a wheelchair for 14 years, who needed assistance with all aspects of hygiene, dressing, medications, wound care, exercise, appointments, housekeeping, meal preparation and some overnight and hospital stays. For the past 7 years, my primary care giving has been full-time with an Alzheimer's/dementia patient. My years of care giving have culminated into a reputation for compassionate and knowledgeable companionship to all in my care, including the family as a whole.
