About Monique

I have several years experience as a reading partner for kids up to 5th grade. I've also privately tutored a special needs 3rd grader for a year to improve her spelling, writing, and reading skills. Encouraging children to read is something I'm passionate about, as it has been one of my favorite activities for as long as I can remember. I have tutored Spanish to kids from the age of 7 to adults aged 46. I also did student teaching for Spanish at a private school for grade levels K-6. All levels of proficiency. I like to take multiple approaches, but I believe that getting the student excited about Spanish culture is one of the most powerful motivating factors for them to gain proficiency! At this time i am at capacity for booking Spanish Tutoring.
