About Natalie

I have a B. S. degree in psychology, and I'm a certified COTA. Through my coursework and professional experience, I've developed knowledge on infant/child development, psychology, and safety. My experience with children began as a teenager, babysitting for a number of families, ages ranging 10 months- 13 years. In college, I nannied part time for a family for 2 years, gaining experience working with elementary aged children. Responsibilities included school drop off and pick up, transportation to sporting events, homework help, meal prep, etc. After graduating, I gained further experience working for a SCPS middle school. Continuing, I went on to work for a local nonprofit specializing in care for disabled adults who have aged out of the school system. Ages ranged from 18-72 years old. Finally, I went through professional internship experience, working with children ages 6 months-21 years old at a local pediatric rehabilitation clinic. Major diagnoses included ASD, ADHD, and CP.
