I started doing in home health care for a few families; which included light cleaning, errands and bathing/dressing. The last 2 years I have been working in senior living community, which has included everything from independent, assisted, enhanced and memory care. I started out working the front desk and since then I have added Resident Assistant and medication administration, I am CBRF certified. I also took care of my grandfather for the last 15 years who suffered from Alzheimer's, COPD and diabetes. Before the Alzheimer's got really bad he was still staying on his own, we had a few falls which led to the use of a gait belt for transfer. About 10 years ago the alzheimer's got bad, we stayed with him 24/7 and during that time he became to weak to walk and we had to transfer with a lift until he passed this year. I am still working in an assisted living facility, but would love to get back into home care.

Tasha always puts my Mom first every day. She makes sure Mother is comfortable and has the correct meds. She goes out of her way to care for all of our residents like they are her friends.
