I have experience dog sitting for a neighbor as well as for friends. One of my greatest achievements was my friend had gone on a vacation and asked a neighbor to take care of their dog. I received a frantic call from my friend asking if I would stay over for a couple of days because her dog was going ballistic in response to the neighbor. When I arrived, the dog was obviously panicked and began barking at me non-stop. I talked to her calmly, got down on her level, and just allowed her to become acclimated. Then, I began to throw her ball. She tried to resist but finally gave in. We were best buddies after that. I will treat your animal with the same patience, love, and enthusiasm. Dogs are definitely my favorite but happy to take care of any animal. Bathing, walking, cleaning up after, socializing, and more are all activities I am more than willing to do.
