About Nick

While I have been a support professional in several capacities, I have always felt most at home tackling academic challenges as a tutor or skills trainer. My tutoring experience goes all the way back to college, and, in recent years, I've developed a passion for finding unique, person-centered strategies to make learning accessible for all. I have seen the effect scholastic struggles can have on a youth's confidence, socialization, and family dynamics, so I don't approach this work simply as a casual homework support who can communicate lessons well, unless, of course, that is the extent of the need and more holistic supports aren't required. Personal and professional experience with ASD & ADHD has given me extensive familiarity with supporting the youth and families affected by struggles in these areas. Different people learn differently, and I develop individualized strategies designed to endure. English/writing, Romance languages, math/science, study skills. K-8 preferred.
