About Nicole

I have experience tutoring high school and fourth grade as well as eight years of experience as an early childhood educator and elementary arts educator. I have worked with children ages 3-11 as well as with adolescents. I hold a bachelors in Childhood Studies and am pursuing my masters in Special Education with a concentration on Assistive Technology and Alternative Communication. My background in assistive technology can be put to use in assisting students with the transition to remote learning. As an educator, I strive to learn each student's unique strengths and areas of struggle as best I can, so that I may tailor learning experiences to them in a very personalized way. I use a student-centered, "whole person", progressive approach.
