About Nicole

I am an energetic and enthusiastic individual with 10 years of nannying experience and 6 years of tutoring experience. I have a BA in English from Trinity University. As a nanny, I am kind, playful, reliable, and engaging. I love to interact with children and help them explore their world. I highly enjoy immersing myself in the important role I have been given. I believe children learn most effectively when engaged, so I often employ the strategy of learning through play. In regards to my tutoring position, I am adept at encouraging my students to focus and excel, while explaining subjects in a way that is easy for them to understand and synthesize. I take the time to get to know the child's interests and incorporate them into the tutoring.
