About Nijole

I was a math teacher for 20 years in my home country of Lithuania. I also have two children of my own, who have given me a lifetime of experience. One of my jobs was to care for an 18-year-old girl with epilepsy, so I'm comfortable with working with disabled and special-needs children. I also used to work part-time for a family with 5 home-schooled kids (ages 4 to 13), which required me to prepare meals, drive them to and from extracurricular activities, keep them entertained, and do light cleaning around the house. Currently, I am working part-time for a family with two school-aged children, which entails similar duties. Overall, I am very passionate about working with children, and love doing what I do. My main goal is to provide children with a safe, fun, and loving environment. I have my own transportation and a clean driving record. I have also recently completed the Seton Montessori Institute Assistant Paraprofessional Course which has given me new insight into child development.
