I am in the very early stages of becoming a Newborn Care Specialist, so I am seeking full-time employment with nanny industry standards. I have 13 years experience in childcare. It is truly my passion and life-calling. I have a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in Child Psychology and Spanish and a Master of Fine Arts in Children's Literature and Young Adult Writing. I am trained and certified in SIDS, Infant Brain Development, First Aid, and CPR (infants, children, & adults) amongst other certifications. I am also certified in the LifeWays model of Waldorf education philosophy. I am incredibly nurturing, fun, careful, and prompt. Nikki is very kind and compassionate with the children in her care. She is fun and funny and treats each child as an individual, with an awareness of what is developmentally appropriate. Nikki is able to form special bonds with the children in her care, she is definitely a safe and comfortable person to leave your children with. I cannot recommend her highly enough!
