I've been taking care of the elderly now for several years now. My journey started when my daughter's grandmother from her dad's side lost her eye sight suddenly. She at the time lived with her 94-year-old father. Because I lived so close to them, before and after work I would help care for them and on weekends sometimes. I did that for free of course. I have been doing elder care professionally now for about two years. I feel like In this role I am living my true purpose. It is an absolute honor to me to make to make some of the last chapters of their lives as happy and as comfortable as possible. On of my former clients is one of close friends now and visit her often at the nursing home when I can just to hand out and say hi.
