About Olivia

Hello! My name is Olivia and my favorite things are children, animals, and the arts! I currently work part-time as a nanny. I usually work 1-7 p.m. every weekday except Tuesday. I'm currently looking for a flexible part-time position to fill in the mornings or weekends. I travel about once a month for another job, hence needing some flexibility. The four pillars of my caregiving philosophy are: safety, respect, education, and creativity. As a supporter of the Montessori method, I try to engage children in project-based learning and interactive play that helps them learn something new each day. I do this while maintaining the physical and emotional safety of their environment. Because of my artistic background, I also like to implement the arts whenever possible. Arts and crafts and imaginative play are some of the most common methods. Additionally, I am a multi-sport athlete and can keep up with even the most energetic and athletically inclined little ones!
